- • One calendar day of rest is required after a pitching assignment. Example: Monday pitch 1 inning, Tuesday rest, next assignment can be Wednesday. [MYB, replaces 2010CRB 0.06.3]
Innings Pitched:
- • If a pitcher delivers one (1) pitch in an inning he shall be charged for one inning pitched. [2010CRB 0.06.1(b)]
- • If a game is called before it has become a regulation game, the pitching eligibility is the same as it was prior to the beginning of the game. [2010CRB 0.06.6]
Manager Conferences (Trips to the mound):
- • Two an inning to the same pitcher; Pitcher can’t pitch again in the game. That player may take another position immediately or at any time during the game. [2010CRB8.06]

- • Full equipment required on players warming up pitcher. [MYB, modifies CRB page17]
RULES ABOUT BATTERS, RUNNERS

- • Batting Helmet required on all batters/runners during both practice and games. [2010 CRB page17]
- • All helmets must have facemasks. [MYB, added to rule on headgear – 2010 CRB page17]

Batting Order
- • Roster bats. [MYB modified option from 2010CRB page 21]
- • Late players are added at bottom of batting order. [MYB]
10-Batter Rule
- • 10 max per half inning. Mgr. notifies other team. If 10th intentionally walked, Mgr. warned, and 11th batter. If 11th intentionally walked, Mgr. ejected. Inning is over after all plays done on last batter. [MYB]
Leaving Early
- • Not allowed after pitcher is on rubber and catcher is ready to catch, until ball reaches home plate. [MYB]
Dropped 3rd Strike
- • Batter does not become a runner on dropped 3rd strike. [2010CRB page 20. Eliminates OBR 6.09(b)]
- Interference by Runner
- • Batter/runner will be out for interfering with throw from fielder down 1st base line if not running in lane outside foul line for last 30 feet. [2010CRB6.05(k)]
- • Contact at Plate/Intentional contact – (running into catcher/pitcher i.e. not sliding to avoid contact) - runner declared out and may be ejected from game. Umpire discretion. [2010CRB6.05]
Stealing
- • On walk, can’t advance from 1st base until next pitch. [MYB]
- • No taunting. [MYB]
- • No stealing any base on a clean catch by the catcher. Ball has to hit the ground in order for runner on 1st or 2nd to steal. [MYB]
- • No stealing by a team leading by 10 runs or more. [MYB]
- • No stealing home. Advancing to home from third base in AA may only take place when a live ball is put into play by the batter, or when the bases are full and the batter is granted first base via walk or hit batsman. Runners may not advance to home on wild pitches, pass balls, attempts by the catcher to throw out another runner, or on the exchange, (thrown or otherwise) of the ball from the catcher back to the pitcher. A batted ball that is caught by a defensive player that records the first or second out of an inning (weather caught in fair or foul territory) is putting a ball into play (i.e. Sac Fly or pop foul) and all runners may advance after tagging up. Once a ball is put into play by the batter, it remains in play and runners may continue to advance until either the third out is recorded, or the pitcher returns to the rubber with the ball. Taunting while the pitcher returns to the mound with the ball in hand is prohibited. [MYB]
RULES ABOUT PLAYERS, FIELDERS
Minimum Play

RULES ABOUT GAME PROCEDURES
Field Conditions
- • Board can call game for poor conditions. [MYB]
- • Both teams must go to the field. Home and visiting manager at the field can agree to call game due to poor field conditions before the field is released to the umpire. Every effort shall be made by both coaching staffs to prepare the field for play. [MYB modifies CRB3.10a]
Time Limits
- • No inning in AA can start after 8:00 PM. Exception can be made if a game is scheduled under the lights at Bise Field. Games played during the day have a time limit of two hours or the end of the inning in progress at that point (2 hour) in time whichever is later. No inning can start within 15 min. of the next scheduled game. [MYB modified option from CRB page 20]
Regulation Game Length
- • If called for time limit, it’s regulation. [MYB option exercised from CRB page 20]
- • In AA, one (1) complete inning constitutes a game. [MYB]
Called Games
- • If game is Regulation (one inning or more in AA) winner is whoever is ahead as long as the current inning is completed. If inning not completed the score reverts back to last completed inning. If not regulation, then No Game. This rule is intended to assist a home team that is trailing in runs scored by giving each team an equal opportunity to bat/score runs. In a case that the home team has recorded runs and taken the lead in the bottom of an inning and then the game is called prior to the end of that inning – the home team keeps those runs and wins the game. In this situation, this game would not revert back to the last inning and hand a victory to the visiting team. [MYB]
Tie Games
- • A regulation game called while the score is tied is complete and is recorded as a tie. Must comply with “CALLED GAMES” rule. No replays or make-ups. [MYB modifies 2010CRB page 18]
Mercy Rule
- • Voluntary concession if lead is 10 or more runs after 3 innings or 2½ if home team is ahead. Conceding a game is at the discretion of the manager of the losing team. [MYB modified option from CRB page 20]
Double Headers
- • Allowed with board approval. [MYB]
Dugout Assignments
- • Home Team occupies 1st base dugout; Visiting Team occupies 3rd base dugout. [MYB]
Allowed in Dugout
- • Maximum of 4 (manager, 2 coaches and scorekeeper) allowed, in addition to players and substitutes. [MYB, replaces CRB 3.17]
Score reporting/Standings [MYB]
- • Winning manager or home manager (in the case of a tie) is required to report the final score within 24 hours for update to the standings page on the MYB website. 2 points for a win, 1 point for a tie, 0 points for a loss. A Forfeit is reported/recorded as a 9 – 0 score. End of season standings tie breakers are:
- • Head to Head
- • Wins
- • Runs against
- • Coin Toss
