Our Programs

T-Ball

This league is primarily for players ages 3 and 4.  They will learn hitting and fielding fundamentals in a supportive team environment.  The primary goal is to provide an introduction to the fundamentals of baseball.  We have found the experience of being a part of a team, learning to attend scheduled practices and games at this age is helpful in creating a baseline of experience as they progress through our program.  We recommend players that are baseball age 3/4   complete at least one year of T-Ball.

T-ball teams practice once during week and play one game on the weekends.

Rookie

This league is primarily for players ages 5 and 6 , although players who have advanced beyond the T-ball division may be considered (space permitting).
A pitching machine is used to allow for more hittable balls at the plate and more action in the field.  Rookie level introduces live coach pitch part of the way through the season. As a natural part of the program's progression, the use of a pitching machine and coach pitch supports the next step in the baseball players' skills.
We recommend players that are baseball age 5 or 6 complete at least one year, ideally two years, of Rookie-level baseball before moving up to the Minors (AA/AAA) divisions.

Rookie teams practice once during week and play one game on the weekends, with an option for an additional weekend practice (coach/team dependent).

Minors

This league is primarily for players who have advanced beyond the rookie division. When there is sufficient registration numbers, this league may be separated into two divisions, AA and AAA.

Players in the minors league should be at least age 8, or have demonstrated sufficient skill to play at this level.

The AA league will primarily be comprised of those players who are transitioning to the larger baseball field, beginning to grasp key fundamentals such as throwing, fielding, and hitting live pitching, but require more development.

The AAA league will primarily be comprised of players who have fully grasped the key components of play at this division but may not yet be ready for the next field size. Players should have comfort and sufficient skill in throwing, fielding, and hitting live pitching, be able to grasp the key details of game-play, and be able to follow coaching signs.

Players  in this division experience real game scenarios as this is a 100% kid pitch league.  Games consist of up to six innings (2 hour time limit) and pitchers are limited (based on age) on number of pitches and innings pitched per week.

Minors teams practice twice a week and play one or two games a week which may include weeknights and weekends.

Majors

This league is recommended for players ages 11 and 12 but players who demonstrate sufficient skill at the Minors level may be permitted to play in this division (space permitted).

Games are played under official Cal Ripken Baseball rules, but implement  special rules as necessary for the development and welfare of this age group.

Games consist of up to six innings and pitchers are limited (based on age) on number of pitches and innings pitched per week.

Majors teams practice twice a week and play one or two games a week which may include weeknights and weekends.

Babe Ruth

This league is for players age 13 to 16.

Games are played on a standard 90' diamonds under Official Baseball Rules used by the Babe Ruth Division of Baseball.

Pitchers are limited (based on age) on number of pitches and innings pitched per week.

Practice and games will occur during the week and on weekends. Game times are typically 7 innings or 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Summer Tournament Teams

In previous years, we have assembled U10, U11, and U12 teams for competitive tournaments around the area.  This league requires players to try out.  Details will be announced in late March or early April.

Fall Ball

In previous years, we have offered Rookie, Minors, and Majors fall programs with two or three teams in each league.  Teams play surrounding towns and can expect 8-10 games.
